COVID-19 Policy Update
An Important Message to Our Clients Regarding State of Michigan Executive Order 2020-21
On March 23rd, 2020, the State of Michigan issued an executive order to suspend all work activities that do not “sustain or protect life”. In compliance with this order, which goes into effect at midnight March 24th and lasts until April 13th, Rocket Fiber is immediately suspending all personnel dispatches including installations or technical troubleshooting. The only exceptions to this policy will be for the support of any systems or applications that “protect or sustain life” as determined by Rocket Fiber.
The safety of our clients and team members is the top priority of Rocket Fiber. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve and spread globally, Rocket Fiber will continue to monitor the situation closely and will periodically update company guidance based on directives from the State of Michigan and current recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.
We will also continue to follow the company guidance issued on 3/16/20 until further notice, including:
- We are not welcoming non business-critical visitors to our office locations until further notice.
- We have suspended all in-person equipment returns at our business locations until further notice. If you are moving and have recently cancelled your home internet service, simply leave your Rocket Fiber equipment in your previous residence. Clients will not be assessed fees for unreturned equipment at this time.
- Rocket Fiber team members are supporting our business operations remotely. Please visit our support page to get in touch with us for your home internet and business support needs.
We understand how important internet services are to our clients and look forward to resuming normal installation and troubleshooting dispatches as soon as we can. Thank you for your support and understanding during this very difficult time.
