Live from Nashville: FBA Chairman’s Award
Marc Hudson, CEO of Rocket Fiber, accepted the prestigious Chairman’s Award from the Fiber Broadband Association at the 2018 National Fiber Connect Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. The award singles out an individual or company that has shown tremendous effort to promote, educate, or accelerate fiber-to-the-home (FTTH). The award was presented by Scott Jackson, National Business Development Manager of Graybar and FBA Chairman, as well as Heather Burnett Gold, FBA President and CEO.
The Chairman’s award was a pleasant surprise to the Rocket Fiber team, since it was just a few short years ago that the Fiber Broadband Association served as a first exemplar of what it meant to create a great fiber company.
The Fiber Broadband Association has been key in providing thought leadership for fiber operators and their partners. The organization’s leadership has additionally shared know-how and consistency in inspiring creativity among not only Rocket Fiber’s co-founders, but continuously across the entire company.
Bringing unrestrained connectivity to homes and businesses in Detroit is Rocket Fiber’s passion. Our unparalleled commitment in bringing the highest quality products and services to our community was made even more evident through this acknowledgement by the Fiber Broadband Association.
“I really want to thank the FBA and especially Heather,” said Hudson. “They have been a huge help in our formation and growth. We are proud of how far we have come since we made a road trip to the Fiber Connect Conference in Kansas City five years ago to see what Google was doing. And we are thankful to our many partners who have helped us get to where we are.”
